At the end of this year the law is changing regarding the licensing of Private Hire Vehicles. From January 2012 two important changes will come into force:

1. No vehicle older than 10 years old will be re-licensed as a private hire vehicle.

2. All newly licensed private hire vehicles must be no older than 5 years.
