Callback. This facility is used to alert the customer that the driver is approaching.

Autobook can be used by Hotels, Restaurants, business and individuals for booking
cars without having to talk to an operator.
Freephones at stores located around south east London. The call is on us.

We have a number of vehicles which can carry upto six passengers.

We offer a range of garage services in order to keep your vehicle on the road.

Data Cars's Callback system can automatically phone the customer to inform them that their car has arrived. This enables Data Cars too offer a more professional service to our customers.

When you call your phone number will appear on the Telephonists screen. Once they have entered your name and address you will be asked if you require the Callback facility.

Our Callback system links to the Data Dispatch system. Callback has been specifically designed for use in high rise and tenement areas, but the service is now so popular that we invested in further technology to allow the system to text the customers mobile phone to advice that the car has been dispatched and the details of the vehicle.
This facility is called TextBack. Both facilitys handle over 25,000 Callback and TextBack requests per week and allow other customers the benefit of this facility.

When the driver is approaching your address he/she will presses a key on their in-car data terminal. This sends a signal to the computer in the office, which then calls the your phone number for a pre-set number of rings. If the call is answered within that time, the you will hear a message informing you, that your vehicle has arrived.

Callback helps to offer a better service to you the customers. Instead of having to look out for your vehicle, they can just wait for the telephone call.

Data Cars's Autobook system gives our customers the ability to book a Private Hire vehicle without having to speak to an operator! Autobook links to our main Booking & Dispatch system and allows cash and account customers wishing to make regular journeys from pre-determined points to book a car without speaking to a telephonist.

The caller knows that they will always get a response, and they can book their car in just a few seconds. The Autobook system can answer multiple calls and is reliable and easy-to-use.

Data Cars operate a number of "Freephones" in locations throughout South East London. The calls made on these phones to our Call Centre are "free of charge".
We operate two types of free phones.
1. Lift handset and you will be connected to our Call Centre.

The Controller is responsible for monitoring the main dispatch system as well as answering calls from drivers and questions from Telephonists.

Data Cars have a remote booking office at Woolwich Road London. Bookings can be made on the main Greenwich number 020 8858 0000.

The main facilities of Autobook, Callback accounts are all still available from this site.

There is also a waiting room from any customer who is passing by who would like to book a car.

Drivers Facilities
The office also has facilities for drivers in Greenwich.




Data Cars have invested in modern technology to improve the efficiency of its service to the general public.
Cabinet on the left contains the Cabmaster System.with 1GB Hub working through Cat6 Cabling Patch Panel and the Avaya Index 800 Phone System. We also operate the "Callview" call logging and monitoring system.

In order to do this Data Cars installed the "Booking and Dispatch System" and the Avaya Index 800 Call Centre Phone Switch.
The Cabmaster System at Data Cars is one of the most advanced systems on the market and is capable of dispatching more than 1200 jobs per hour as well as support 1000 vehicles.

The Telephonist is responsible for taking calls from account customers as well as the general public. The Telephonist will take the journey details and enter them into a computerised booking system.

Controllers
The Controller is responsible for monitoring the data dispatch system and dealing with enquiries from the fleets drivers and also staff.
